Whilst we primarily act as a Principal Contractor, with 70 years combined experience in this specialist sector, we have the technical expertise to assist in all aspects of a project from the early stages of design onwards.

Who we are
Brown and Ralph Limited is a building restoration, carpentry and stonemasonry contractor specialising in working on historic and listed building structures across the country from our base just outside Cambridge.
We have a team of expert traditional craftspeople including stonemasons, carpenters, bricklayers, conservators and stone cleaners. Between them they have vast experience of working with traditional materials on buildings ranging from Scheduled Monuments to Cambridge Colleges, as well as the odd quirky folly.
