We have recently completed this substantial project at Trinity College for the Dining Hall, which comprised of 4 phases of work – on time and within budget.
The works comprised of extensive yet delicate structural works to the main dining hall, including the complications of temporarily ‘tying’ the historic grade 1 listed dining hall together with tensioned wire ropes to enable the structural load-bearing buttresses to be dismantled and rebuilt, incorporating new Ketton stone where necessary. This masonry work was all carried out in-house, with our own skilled masonry team.
Other works included specialist conservation repairs to the stained glass windows, stabilisation and replacement of the reed and plaster ceiling panels to the dining room, whilst maintaining a fully functional dining room below ! And then extensive redecoration.
