We carried out the external repair and re-decoration of this Cottage for the National Trust in the summer of 2025. The project required careful planning due to its proximity within the Shaws Corner National Trust Estate, with safety being paramount whilst scaffold access was erected and dismantled.
The project included sensitive traditional carpentry repairs following the stripping of the existing paintwork, repair to existing downpipes, glazing replacement works and then a thorough re-decoration using the approved colour scheme, which has given the Cottage a new lease of life as can be seen!
We successfully completed the project on time and within budget.
