St Mary and St Giles Church

It is not often that we are given the opportunity to extend a Grade one listed Church and our team of craftsmen relished the opportunity to showcase their skills.

The new extension sits sympathetically with the existing Church, providing useful additional space comprising of a new hall, kitchen and toilet facilities.

The build is of traditional construction with a block-work inner skin, natural stone facade, plain tiled roof slopes with lead weathering, and solid floors with underfloor heating fed from a new boiler installation which also feeds the existing Church.

The stonework with its traditional plinth, quoins and buttress profiles has been carefully detailed to complement the existing building.
