All Saints Church Cottenham

Nave re-ordering

This project involved the removal and reconfiguration of the existing traditional fixed pews to the North end of the Nave, the formation of a new permanent access ramp into the church and the installation of a brand new Ancaster Weatherbed stone floor laid on a limecrete screed.

The works also involved various joinery works including the fabrication of a new bespoke bookshelf partially formed out of one of the existing pews and installation of a bespoke dais platform with integrated media, power connections, a curved oak handrail and a client-supplied steel balustrade.

Our highly experienced carpenters and stonemasons relished the opportunity to carry out these detailed works and the Church is delighted with the final results.
