14 Trinity Street , Jigsaw Cambridge

This was a challenging project with the shop remaining open throughout the duration, careful planning and good communication were key to the success.

The works comprised of scaffolding with a temporary roof, strip and replace the existing plain tiled roof salvaging tiles where possible.

The historic facade and roof structure were then overhauled and significant structural Oak repairs carried out to the ancient timber frame using traditional skills and repair methods.

New carved finials and corbels replaced the rotten original ones matching original detail.

All of the windows were removed from site and the lead casements overhauled and replaced where needed by a specialist glazier before being refitted.

Lime plaster repairs and redecoration of the front facade then completed the project .
